THREE LITTLE PIGS - Puppet Show

“Three Little Pigs”, the classic fairy tale follows the adventures of the three piglets who have moved out, and problem solve dealing with situations in unique ways. This show will help teach strong moral values in: patience, hard work, and perseverance. When you do a job, do it well.

For children of all ages.

Theme: Educational/Fairytale

Running time: 21 minutes

Moral: Patience/Hard work/Perseverance

This show pairs well with our glove puppet workshop.

Creventive's first FULL-LENGTH puppet show for kids! Debuted on March 18th at the Elmwood Park Public Library.

Puppet Show runs approximately 21min, short puppetry demo before show, followed by (optional) kids activity/coloring pages based on the Puppet Show.

 
 
 

UGLY DUCKLING - Puppet Show

“The Ugly Duckling”, the story of a swan born into a family of ducks, who is cast out of the pond because the other animals believe such an "ugly duckling" doesn't belong with them. Wherever he goes, the ugly duckling encounters animals that shun him for the same reason. Upon encountering a group of elegant white birds, the ugly duckling aspires to one day be as beautiful as them. After a dreadfully cold and lonely winter, the ugly duckling sees his reflection in the water and realizes that he wasn't a duck after all - he has grown to be the most beautiful swan in the pond. This show will help teach how to deal with bullying, and that it's okay to be different from everyone else.

For children of all ages.

Theme: Educational/Fairytale

Puppet Slam Pieces

Various short-narrative pieces generally 2-5minutes long. We generally perform these for puppet slams across the USA.

Creventive's first puppet slam piece debuted during the Chicago International Puppet Theatre Festival in 2015.

CPC currently has a collection of 8 slam pieces. These pieces have been performed across the USA

CPC debuted "Anything You Can Do" at the Great Lakes Puppet Theatre Conference in November 2017, featuring puppeteers: Connor Asher & David Quesal as Jeremy and Jenny.

 
 
 

Internet Safety - Puppet Show (COMING SOON

“Internet Safety”, show features our own: Cameron, a young scientist who was just given a computer, alongside Motivator who will help teach Cameron and the audience on why being cautious when going online is so important. This show will help give guidelines for basic internet safety, keeping personal information to yourself instead of sharing it with the whole world. 

Children/Young Adults: 5-16

Theme: Educational

Running time: 15 minutes

Moral: Be safe on the internet

Picky Eater - Short

“Picky Eater”, follows Jeremy J. Giggles, actor of the Creventive Theatre. Jeremy is hungry wanting to grab his usual daily lunch, however his friend: Chef Bubblegum, tries to convince him on the importance of being versatile and trying new foods.

This show pairs well with our storyboarding workshop.

 

Debuted online November 14th, 2016 as an animated short developed by Connor Asher during his time at the Art Institute of Chicago.
